Improve your poker game with our player statistics feature!

Improve your own poker playing by being able to analyze you own game,. ParadisePoker has a fantastic feature which will provide you with your very own live online playing statistics.

Do you call more often than you raise? Where do you fold, and do you fold too often or not enough? What percentage of the time do you win a hand after you see the flop?

Now you can get the answers to these questions and many more! Only you can see your live playing statistics, and you can use them in order to improve your poker game.

Simply click on the tab in the bottom left corner of the table screen to open your statistics window. The screen displayed can be in three views (below) and differs slightly depending on the game being played.

Definitions of the statistics:

Session start: Time and date you logged into Paradise. If you hit "reset stats", the time will reset to the present time.

Games Played: The total number of games played since you last reset your statistics. Realistically, you do require many games played before your statistics can give you some more meaningful results.

Games won: The percentage of games you won based on the total games you played. Obviously you want a high win percentage, but not at the expense of playing too many games all the way to the showdown.

Flops seen: The percentage of games where you see the flop (where you do not fold pre-flop). This is a very important statistic as most good players ensure they play with premium starting hands. Successful Hold'em players often have a flop seen percentage of less than 30%. This percentage should also be greatly affected by the number of players at your table, as the fewer players there are, the more flops you should see since your minimum hand requirements can relax. Stud players will have a 4th street seen percentage displayed.

Won without showdown: The percentage of hands you have won after the river has been shown. A high percentage here indicates you are an aggressive player feared by your opponents. A low percentage indicates that you are only playing strong hands.

Won with flops seen: The percentage of games you won based on the games where you at least saw the flop. A low percentage in this category could simply indicate that you are seeing too many flops with less than premium hands that are not holding-up and winning often enough. It could also mean that you are folding too easily after the flop... you can look at other statistics to further evaluate this possible weaknesses in your game. Stud players will have a Win % if 4th street seen displayed.

Showdowns won: The percentage of games you won where there was a showdown on the river (a called river bet with one or more opponents). A high percentage can indicate you are going to the river with superior hands, and a low percentage can indicate you are either calling with weaker hands or you are simply getting called on your bluff attempts.

Your actions... Fold, Check, Call, Bet, Raise and Re-Raise: The percentage of each specific action based on your total actions made. These numbers can be extremely interesting and can help indicate if you are possibly too aggressive or too passive in your poker playing. Many top players advocate a more aggressive style which would tend to result in higher percentages in the bet, raise and re-raise categories. For example, if you find your call category as one of your highest percentages you may wish to consider folding and/or raising more often.

Where you fold... Pre Flop, Flop, Turn, River, No Fold: The percentage of times you fold at each specific stage of the game. Games where you do not fold at all (win or showdown) would appear in the No Fold category. It is important to see where you fold your hand as it may assist you with your overall poker play. For example, this statistic can help in better determining whether you fold too often or not often enough after the flop. Stud players will see the data displayed for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th street and the river.
